Usability isn't enough Usability this, usability that. With all the talk about usability people sometimes forget the other "u" word, usefulness; or it's next door neighbor, the "v" word, value. You can have the most usable site in the world but if it doesn't provide a useful, helpful service or add value, people are just wasting time with you. And, when your users are frustrated and wasting time, your competitors become their best friends. So please, be usable and useful. With both, you will be valuable. |
